2019
- Enjoy Finnish project focused on the development of the Instagram and Facebook accounts for Russian-speaking students, but private Skype teaching is still available to students who speak English or Russian all over the world.
2018
- Introduced the website www.enjoyfinnish.fi and launched an online store, where one can acquire learning material and gift certificates for Skype lessons.
- Kristina Salmela started her work in Portaanpään kristillinen opisto teaching Finnish language as a foreign language to refugees and other students.
2017
- Recorded the first educational videos which can be viewed on Youtube.
- Created the Facebook group “Финский с удовольствием” for Russian-speaking users. The group is a live teaching aid that publishes original material on a weekly basis.
- Held a free promo-webinar “Consonant gradation in Finnish verbs”.
- Participated in the project “Finnish Language Cafe” held in Joensuu city library.
- Organized and held a three-month-long Sunday Finnish-language course for intermediate and advanced levels (B1-C1).
- Organized and held a two-day-long intensive course Sujuvaa Suomea for levels B2-C1. The goal was to resolve common mistakes and develop existing communication skills.
- Developed and held a suggestopedic Finnish language course for beginners (A1-A2) under JoMoni ry.
- Taught the Finnish language to the workers of the European Forest Institute (Joensuu).
2016
- Created the Finnish-learning Facebook group “Enjoy Finnish” for English-speaking users.
- Launched a new teaching format – open grammar lessons in the city of Joensuu, where every lesson is dedicated to learning and practicing one grammatical phenomenon.
- Developed and held a suggestopedic course for students with no knowledge of the Finnish language. Organizer: JoMoni ry.
- Taught the Finnish language to the workers of the European Forest Institute (Joensuu).
- Developed teaching materials and held a series of lessons within a network marketing project Russia Digital. Organized and requested by Karelia University of Applied Sciences (Joensuu).
2015
- Developed and piloted a teaching format “Finnish Language Lab” for intermediate levels (B1-B2).
- Held a lecture about the suggestopedic Finnish-language teaching method for volunteers. (Kuopio, Puijola ry)
- Taught illiterate students as part of a voluntary cooperation with Setlementti Puijola ry (Kuopio).
2014
- Participated in a multicultural project OHO Opitaan yhdessä as a Finnish language teacher. In cooperation with the textile artist Anneli Kokko (Joensuu).
- Developed and held a suggestopedic Finnish-language course for beginners under JoMoni ry.
2011
- Worked in a private suggestopedic Finnish-language school Onnenkieli (Tampere).
